What activities does Esperanza offer?
At Esperanza School, we believe in giving your child every advantage possible to succeed. To support this
belief, we offer different Ancillary programs (or enrichment courses) as additional education opportunities
to support the core curriculum of our classrooms. Our Ancillary programs offer small class sizes to give
your child the personalized experience and individual attention to help them grow and develop new skills
without obstacle. Your child can quickly gain new skills in important areas that are vital for future success
in school and life!

Description of Location & Daily Schedule
Our different Ancillary programs are held in separate rooms pertaining to the unique coursework that is
offered in the class. The length of time that the class is held also varies between the different courses

Why are enrichment activities important?
Enrichment is now sometimes used as an umbrella term to encompass a range of approaches to enhancing opportunities for our children to learn and grow.
The best kind of enrichment contributes to children’s cognitive and social development. The programs Esperanza offers such as Art, Music, Theatre and Monkeynastix help aid your child in:
* developing a greater depth of knowledge about a certain topic
* developing a higher level of skill
* relating learning to new areas and contexts
* promoting a higher level of thinking
